Sounds like y'all had an awesome week! It's so fun every week getting to look at y'all's pictures. Man I miss all y'all a lot! (But not so much that it's distracting of course) That hail storm :o. I wish I could have been there. It NEVER rains here. Like never. And on the blue moon that it does it like sprinkles. Definitely missing those Texas thunderstorms. Those are da bomb.
Dying
So on Tuesday, Elder Collins and I died. Literally. It started at about 1 in the morning. I woke up and then... the rest is history. Just know that there was much puke and things of that nature for the next 5 hours or so. Come to find out at about 7:15..... We had zone conference that morning and we had to be there in 45 minutes for car inspections. So I got out of bed, dying, and put all my clothes on and parted my hair. It was a very hard drive to the conference which was 30 minutes away. But we made it in time.. somehow. It was a rough. 5 hours sitting through the conference. But I'm glad that I sucked it up and ended up going. I did get a good amount out of it that I needed.
When we got home though and I was starting to feel a tad bit better.... Elder Collins started doing the exact same thing. So we had to stay in the apartment for the rest of the night. It was a rough experience. But I know that God definitely blessed me for going to the conference.
Cameron
We found this really prepared lady this past week who was super willing to listen to us. She has been through a lot and is now a single mother trying to find her way. We just shared a quick message about the restoration and it hit her right in the heart. It was awesome to see how much she was touched by the spirit. Her name is Cameron! So if you could keep her in your prayers :) We are really hopeful for her. We are going to have another lesson with her on Wednesday!
Salina
I've mentioned her before. But I am just asking as well to keep her in your prayers. She is really going through a hard time. She is going through an eviction and things of that nature. She's technically homeless right now! It's super hard as a missionary because we can't do anything for her besides just help her seek God's help! But we'll keep doing our best and seeing what resources we can use.
Normal Week
Other than all of that fun stuff it was a pretty normal week. We are still seeing some absolutely amazing blessings coming from just talking to every body. We have a good goal this week together of talking to like 140 people total in the week to see if we can find a family to teach. Our ward is in dire need of some more families. Many of the families are moving out for various reasons and it's definitely taking a toll on the ward. So we are on a mission to help!! haha.
Love y'all! Have a wonderful week :)
Love,
Elder Robertson
